Since my return my team has optimized code to the point where we are now at a max of 15000 concurrent users at peak. I'm responsible for all hardware and software for our web applications.

Duties included: I am the lead web developer for a insurance Policy Tracking System. Our system manages several hundred million dollars in Insurance policies. I maintain and manage the system and work with new additions for the software. I managed over 2 junior web developers as we moved from Coldfusion to .Net. I managed a migration of our Sql Server 2000 clusters to Sql Server 2005. I created stored procedures to effectively manage the increasing load on the database server.

Duties included: Managing all aspects of the server maintenance. Organized moving 16 servers into a new carrier level facility with no downtime over the 2 day move. Migrating the site from CF5 to CFMX7.
Responsible for new flash communication server development to bring full streaming media to site customers. I am responsible for working on the database schema and improving site performance. When i started my position the site could not handle 4500 concurrent connections. After my work on the database and TSQL queries the site can now handle all traffic we receive. Current max to date is 6000 concurrent connections.

Duties included: Creating batch processes to move mission critical data from VSAM and DB2 to our MYSQL database to be used in our new Coldfusion site for shopping. Managed the conversion of old legacy Perl code to Coldfusion MX7 using the MACH-II framework. Responsible for reporting of several sections of the Customer Service Center. Managed the team developing a new Mass Mailing solution for the company. Managed the roll out of the MySql NDB Cluster for the newest ABC website.

Manage the ListServ bulk email servers (20+ Million emails daily). Tweaking the
listserv and smtp engines for performance and speed. Creating a Employee time
management software package in Coldfusion to allow employees to better spend
their time. Creating a QA package to allow requests from the Customer Service
Department to return to the Development Team in a meaningful way. Created

I was the office manager, as well as handling
all the servers, networking of the servers, the phone system. We were the
consulting company for AEPS INC (www.aeps.com) we did the programming for them.
We were originally PERL & Filepro based database from 1996 until 1999. Then
I managed the creation of the new AEPS 2000 Software that would run using
Coldfusion and Sybase. Created a whole new cluster of servers to manage the
load of the new software and traffic to the site.
